Olde Surber Station aka My Favorite Vacation

This past Thanksgiving our whole family decided to get together and my Mom booked us at Olde Surber Station. It is a house built in the 1800s and recently restored as a vacation rental. It is located in the mountains in Oriskany, VA.







It was an absolutely awesome vacation. The house features original wood floors, a slipper tub in the bathroom, and the kitchen(my fav room) is equipped with an old fully functioning wood stove. It was like slipping back in time for a week.













We were able to go hiking, canoeing, have campfires and cook our Thanksgiving dinner on the wood stove!
Brendan and Talitha had a blast just playing all day long outside in nature. Brendan says that it was his favorite vacation!
